Students expected to demonstrate various Aikido techniques during their promotion tests.

Executed techniques include but are not limited to self-defense against grabs, punches, kicks, hair pulls, knife and gun attacks.  Tests for higher ranks (black and 1-3 Kyu belts) require defense against free style attacks and multiple opponents.
